Frequently asked questions

How long does a glider flight take?

A typical flight takes between 15 and 30 minutes; this varies with weather and thermals.

Do I need special clothing?

No. Our advice: wear comfortable clothes and don’t forget your sunglasses.

How old do you have to be to fly along?

There is no legal minimum or maximum age. From experience, people from about 8 years old love gliding. Passengers must be physically able to get in and out of the aircraft.

Can I take photos or videos during the flight?

Yes, you may. However, we recommend keeping your phone in your bag and fully enjoying the experience and scenery.

Is gliding safe?

Yes—gliding is very safe. Our pilots are well‑trained and certified, and our gliders are regularly maintained and inspected to strict safety standards.

How tall and heavy can you be?

For a comfortable seating position, the maximum height is 1.95 m. The maximum weight is 110 kg, due to the technical and aerodynamic limits of the glider.

Can you glide without wind?

Wind isn’t required. Gliders use air mass and thermals (rising air) to gain height.

How many people can fit in a glider?

Gliders come as single‑seaters and two‑seaters. In a two‑seater there is room for one passenger in addition to the pilot.

Do I need to book in advance?
