A wonderful glider with a rich history—this type won the World Gliding Championships six times between 1985 and 1995. Although it is a high‑performance aircraft, the handling remains manageable for less experienced pilots. It is very pleasant to fly and popular at clubs. In VVO training you build experience on this glider towards your SPL.

The ASK 13 is a trainer, known for its lovely handling. Built from steel tubing, wood and fabric, it is relatively light. About 700 ASK 13s were built by Schleicher. They are excellent training aircraft—very robust and easy to fly. We use it to learn aerotow and to prepare for flying the Discus B.
